Laptop, open notebook, coffee, and pen on a wooden table

Been a long while and life just gets in the way. It happens.

Lifes been busy with the day job, and home and life in general. And the blog has suffered for the worse.

Trying to get my head back into the game and back into things I enjoy, including posting here. Now, don’t get me wrong here, i’m not here for the sympathy vote, just wanted to explain my lengthy absence.

I have been meaning to write this post for a few months. Each time I have tried to sit down and write it, i’ve just stared at a white screen, nothing happening, nada, nowt. Each time I start to write, I don’t have the words or the way to explain the absence.

So, whats different about today. In the past week I’ve been doing things in the background and moving domain supplier over to SqaureSpace and moving away from GoDaddy (I know, don’t judge ok! it was a good deal at the time!). Have also been helping Lilysmum with some stuff with her online presence.

That’s also given me the kick to reignite my passion back here. There are loads of changes in the workspace that I’ll be writing about and writing about things that I am interested in and some are things that are in my brain that needs to escape.

I’ve also been sat here with my new note keeper (Obsidian if you must know) where I’m trying to write my thoughts out as to articles to try and organise myself! Yes, I can try and it may not work!

so… that was written back in May of this year. Fast forward to the end of October and its only half written. Where has that time gone?!??! Its been a hot sweaty summer and I even managed to get a good suntan up on the west coast of Scotland!!

I’m writing this from the sun loungers around the pool in Rhodes. Giving myself more time to recharge and soak up the sun one last time to spark the writing off. Work is busier then usual and some interesting issues recently that I need to share.

Until the next post and normal service resumes…. take it easy and peace out!

Lilysdad.
